I am from East Texas born and raised. I work alongside my husband who came here from Colombia as a student and was led to become the youth pastor at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church where we have been serving for several years now. I was inspired to start this page because I want to help explain in a clear manner different doctrinal beliefs that are foundational to the walk of a believer. Through high school I served on our youth praise band and was heavily involved with the church but I didn't really learn a lot of doctrine until I spent a year in seminary. During that year I realized how very little I knew about scripture and a lot of things made me worry about other young Christians that don't know the same things I was learning. There is a lot of doctrine missing for so many people, questions that I wouldn't have even known to ask. So this page is my way of sharing with you the things that I've learned and hopefully explaining what scripture says about hard topics of the day.
